For this animation project, I was limited to using only shapes and text. I chose Tien Tim’s poem exploring the highs and lows of technology, and designed a clean, Apple-inspired SaaS interface to animate it. The polished, optimistic visual style serves as an ironic counterpoint to the poem’s cautionary message.

For this animation, I combined imagery, video, shapes, and text inspired by 1968's Planet of the Apes and BAPE. Their visual worlds pushed me to explore how apes have historically been misrepresented and tied to discrimination. I shifted the narrative toward empowerment, ending on a brighter note that celebrates apes as modern symbols of strength, culture, and identity.
